I picture your face in the middle of my mind,
Every day is for you.

A century is but a minute,
And though we’ve faltered in our tread,
My heart skips the beats that we mess up,
And for that no tears we will shed.

And I don’t feel the stitches in the process,

That can’t be unbound by hate,
That no one will ever unwind.

My mind is made of stone,
But it’s filled with precious gold,
So love me like sand through fingers,
That no one else can hold.

Sometimes it’s only games,
